Protests

#1 Alban Deslie - Cyril Werdmuller - T4 Lap 1

Protest: Deslie after a previous crash continues driving with basically irreparable car, loses back of the car and goes in a way of Werdmuller. Werdmuller can't avoid him and loses front wing.

Review: Deslie hits the wall hard in T3, losing both wings, after which his car becomes essentially uncontrollable. The resulting incidents happened rather because of the car than because of a driving mistake, although pressing ESC could have resolved the situation more quietly.

Verdict: Nothing

#2 Steffen Moller - Pedro Melim T5 Lap 39

Protest: Stefan Mollen with a optimistic move tries to overtake Melim on the inside loses the rear and touches Melim making him spin and lose the position.

Review: Moller moves on the inside of Melim at Loews but is not able to perform the overtake in controllable fashion, thus gaining advantage and a position through self-initiated contact.

Verdict: 1 penalty point to Moller.

#3 David Martinez - Pedro Melim T1 Lap 49

Protest: Melim spins on the exit of turn 1, loses front wing. He attempts to correct the car and keep on driving, however he fails to acknowledge approaching car of Martinez, which could be heard or seen on rf hud. Martinez, unable to avoid him, hits him and loses front wing and chances for a podium finish.

Review: Melim, having spun the car, could have waited to let Martinez pass before attempting to correct his car, based on audiovisual hints of another car approaching. The situation was, however, acknowledgeably difficult and the road narrow.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Melim.
