Protests

#1 Rizwan Sarwar - Cyril Werdmuller - Q1

Protest: Sarhar came out of pits and didn't acknowledge Cyril who was on hotlap. Cyril had to abort his lap.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Sarwar for unsafe pit exit.

#2 Several - T1 exit Lap 1

Protest: Going out of Turn 1 lap 1 Stefan Kanitz gets out of shape which causes a chain reaction of cars colliding into each other including Martinez, Conti - There is also further caos behind where Rietveld touches Kostadinov which again causes a chain reaction of cars colliding, this resulted in many cars having to take an early pit stop due to damage or retire as a result. There is a little lag though it seems so this protest may not reflect the final out come of the director's.

Verdict: The incident had no clear "instigator" and was slightly lag influenced. Hence no penalty.

Really a shock to see no one get punished for causing the first lap carnage, even one of the guys admitted it was his fault yet no penalties anywhere for a pill up which made most of the field retire or a ruined race.

I think the verdict is fair when looked at in the context of 'lag influenced' and 'no clear instigator'.

However, when compared to the horrendous lag and poor FPS from Bahrain i just cant understand how i got my Penalty for cutting when all i was doing was avoiding what i saw as a mess ahead - no one got any damage or had their race compromised and yet i get my licence endorsed so to speak.

i feel very harshly done by tbh.
