Protests

#1 Philipp Puschke

Protest (2):

Race cutting:

lap 3, 6:56, T7
Lap 5, 9:58, T7
Lap 8, 14:31, T7
Lap 10, 17:33, T7
Lap 18, 30:00, T7
Lap 20, 33:02, T7
Lap 25, 40:54, T7
Lap 27, 43:55, T7
Lap 28, 45:26, T7
Lap 32, 51:29, T7
Lap 33, 53:00, T7
Lap 34, 54:30, T7
Lap 36, 57,51, T7
Lap 41, 65:25, T7
Lap 43, 68:26, T7
Lap 48, 76:02, T7
Lap 51, 80:53, T7
Lap 59, 93:02, T7
Lap 60, 94:34, T7

Review: A review of race laps confirms cuts (T7) on the following laps being within 101.5% of the fastest lap of the actual stint of the driver: 3, 5, 8, 10, 18, 20, 25, 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, 36, 41, 43, 48, 51

Lap 59 was a limit case which was not included this time. However, the penalty would have stayed the same regardless of whether lap 59 was included or not. In the other protest, a couple of more laps were mentioned. These were all, however, "cleaner" than the limit case of lap 59.

Verdict: +60 seconds race time penalty to Philipp Puschke (article 2.9 3), more than 20% of laps cuts (17/60).

P.S. To clarify, the entry material into T7 is not considered a curb by the rulebook article 14.1. This type of green/grey solid surface is the same as you can find on the inside of curbs, for example in Turn 3 on the same track. And yes, I know that's nitpicking. However, it seems all the teams didn't think it was...
