After launching rFactor with the Manager you simply have to join the FSR server through the Lobby.

Yeah, I've joined myself but I wonder why the data won't get to you? I have turned the UAC off and manager running. By the way, found some things to fix:
1. Infinity Racing's, Thunder Racing's and VDB Motorsports' cars are too shiny.
2. General car's rear wing shows the RD text mirrored.

No, no errors at all, and I am able to join the server.

You have to send the files via FSR FileSubmit manually. They wont "get" to the director in any other way.

The manager generates an encrypted log, and the administrators can detect if someone is cheating.
