Problems loading track after using Great Britain XPack

Discussion in 'Bob's Track Builder' started by senna4ever, Feb 5, 2010.

  1. I am 98% finished with my track, but I decided to add some objects from the Great Britain Xpack, mostly standing spectators, about 30 of them. I exported my track from BTB exactly the same way I've always done, but when I try to load the track in rFactor, it crashes. The program shuts down on its own as soon as the progressive bar starts to load, no error message or anything.

Can anybody tell me why this happens and how I can fix it???

I think theres a LOG file somewhere that records what happens during the running of rFactor.exe.

I`m not sure where it is, but i`m sure someone will point it out to you :)
  3. It looks like it's rFactor\UserData\LOG\trace.txt
  4. No, not there...
  5. Did windows shut down rfactor automatically or get you an error signal?
Than try Alt + Tab, sometimes you get an error message if the window will be shut down, perhaps it´s only a wrong material !?
  6. I don't get no error message, rFactor just disappears from the screen and I'm left in the desktop
  7. You can run the rFactor AIW editor, it will generate a trace.log or you can turn it on by adding -trace=1000 to the target line in the shortcut. ie (Target ["C:\Program Files\rFactor\rFactor.exe" -trace=1000])
