The GT Legends Workshop team have released a substantial update to the legendary Power & Glory mod for GTR2.

Following a break of several years, a now considerably reduced GTLW team have been hard at work further refining and improving on this classic release, introducing a number of fixes to long standing issues and heavily improved physics to the Ford GT40 and Porsche 906 cars in game.

New users can directly install version 3.2 from scratch (assuming a vanilla install of GTR2 is installed) or updating from the previous version can be achieved via an updater.

any tips for my wheel settings/ffb etc on t300rs ??? can't get a good feeling at all
I just got it up and running and it took a while to get my T300 dialed in but it feels pretty good now. Try this:
In the Thrustmaster profiler thingy:
900 degrees rotation
Overall Strength of all forces - 88%
Constant - 100%
Periodic - 100%
Spring - 0%
Damper - 100%
Auto Center - by the game
(these are the same settings I use for AC also)

In game
CONTROLS - FORCE menu
Thrustmaster RGT FFB Pro - Highlighted
Force Feedback Effects - Low
Force Feedback Strength - 78%
Reverse Effects - Unchecked
--------------
If I click on the green button on the launcher it changes the settings in game to something absolutely crazy. Try these and tell me what you think.

EDIT:
After clicking on the green button on the launcher it sets the advanced FFB to Logitech G25, sets FFB to 100%, and checks the reverse FFB checkbox.
I lower the strength to 78% and UNCHECK the ffb reverse box. (this is very important)

Thanks for posting to help on the T300 settings.

I am a bit confused by the above statement though.

The purpose of the P&G FFB edits are primarily to make FFB just respond to what the front wheels are doing and to reduce the default lightness in GTR2 FFB when you are at the limit of tyre grip.

It does however re-set the force feedback strength to 100% which might be what you mean.

You can use the green button then re-adjust the force feedback strength to the value you prefer.

For those who want to play with the plr file, the three main changes are

[ Controls ]
FFB steer force average weight="0.65000"
FFB steer force grip weight="0.27500"
FFB steer force grip factor="1.00000"

Always one and the same question when I see vintage cars, but I really like realism and to be competitive online, because I do not drive racing games offline. Is there weight penalty for the cars or maybe slower shifting if manual clutch and H shifter are not used? Thanks for good work anyway, I haven´t race PnG since 2.0 release, but this Cortina calls me back again

I'm certain there are no weight penalties and don't think there's slower shifting if manual clutch and H shifter are not used? Sorry :(

C´mon, you don´t need to be sorry in any way after such a great work, David. I have enjoyed PnG many hours so far and when endurance league will take a break I will try it again for sure. Thank you and all the team for it .

This is still fun to drive, and it really is how crazy good GTR2 was.....for it's time....Driving it now really makes me miss just how good these cars would feel in AC. But it isn't going to happen so might as well not even think about it.
Only tried a few cars so far but they have all been a blast to drive, thank you guys for continuing to improve this great mod.

Getting an error when trying to install : Error : Unpacking Error, status 2. Downloaded files from 1st mirror. Any ideas?

First of all, get the 4 files you have (the installer and the 3 big files) and drop them in an empty folder, if you haven't done it already.
Make sure the files are named exactly like this:

PnGv3.2.001
PnGv3.2.002
PnGv3.2.003
PnGv3.2_installer.exe

If they are already named correctly, and it still gives the error during the installation, then download THIS FILE.
Extract the file from the ZIP into where those 4 files are.

This is an "integrity check" tool that our team member aSa created to see if there's a corrupted file among the big ones, and if there is, which one.
You just double click this "PnG32_installfile_checker.exe", and let it diagnose the files.

In case there is one of the files that got pointed out as corrupted, it means that you'll have to redownload that file (and note, only the one pointed as corrupted).

After downloading the file again, place it with the other ones replacing the faulty one, and "integrity check" on them again. If all good... time to try installation again.

@David Wright
I edited my post above that contains my T300 settings. Clicking the green button on the launcher does indeed set the FFB strength to 100% but more importantly it checks the reverse FFB box. That is no bueno on the T300. LOL
Unchecking that box and lowering the overall strength has made the cars feel even better! Thanks again for you and the team's work.

Thank you that is really useful information, I will speak to our launcher programmer and see if we can omit the strength and reverse editing for future versions.
