If the game causes any minidumps and a crash-to-desktop, please post them in this thread so that people can have a look at it.

Please stay on topic here and just report the minidumpfile as an attachment with a little description what happened

Why reinstall? Just remove the add-on stuff and force your game to re-update and its fine to go again. Evo never has to be completely reinstalled.

I only have 2 dumps from race 07 demo

Going to get full game soon.

UPD: Can't attach rar as 400kb is too big

UPD2: I got a retail Evo, and have 2 fresh minidumps from it. How I am supposed to post them, they are 780kb when in rar.

minidumps

just bought this game yesterday through steam and getting minidumps everytime i try to play i get as far as the loading screen after choosing a car starting to really wind me up now as i've payed for something i cant even use!!!

Stefan check also your Custom Skins folder and then the Error file. You can see if the minidump was caused by i custom skin. Because i read that somebody else had also problems.

Texture format for texture 'C:\Users\Gebruiker\Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\CustomSkins\skins_RD_enduro_algarve\McGregor C6R GT SPort\Scotland2 (40x20).tga' is invalid. It should be A8R8G8B8 or X8R8G8B8. TGA file format

Thanks Ivo, but why doesn't everybody have the same problems then??

I get mini dumps when I try to load a custom skin in an "online Multiplayer game" only.

If I load up the custom skin in a offline "race event, Time attack or PRactice" mode then its fine.

Massive error message in custom skins folder thru path.....docs/simbin/race07/custom skins similar to stefan's message.

Anyone help with this? I have verified that other players have been able to use the saem custom skins no problems in "online / Multiplayer games including stock tracks.

Are you sure you have placed your custom skins in the My Documents folder and not in the game folder?

yeah in the docs/simbin/race07/custom skins path..............I get it to work occaisionally if I select all the default stock skins and watch my CPU meter. if the meter is at 30% or below for 3-4 loads on stock skin, then I have a goo d chance I'll successfully load a custom skin.

Here's a wrinkle for this ..................I can download ANY MINI SKIN and it installs and never dumps! even if I select it cold out of the car choices! Another argument for console gaming..........................

Good afternoon! My Race 07 by Steam was always perfect, but yesterday, after a long time I didn't use it, it doesn't work anymore

I tried to do a new installation but without a good result... Every time I try to launch the game, it crash... Can someone help me?

ps: I didn't any change at my pc, it's the same

ps2: i tried volvo the game, and it has the same problem...

Hey folks,

just downloaded Race 07

keep getting a "mini dump" when i click on anything to do with upgrading to Race on or entering Steam.

Hey guys just got a miniDump error when Alt+Tab, crash to DTop. Can anybody pls point me in the right direction. this one's starting to suck!?

When running Race in full screen mode, ALT-TAB to the desktop is a troublefull action as I have noticed. Somehow, Race just doesn't like it when you do that frequently. Can't explain why, but it generates troubles.

TOny89, Since you haven't run the game in a while there have been updates. Whenever a n update to Race07 and addons has been applied, you must open the game for the first time using the Race07 Icon.
