A haiku is a three-line meditation in a particular form.

Specifically, it has seventeen syllables["on" actually], arranged like this:

    five
    seven
    five

Other forms may be nice, but they aren't haiku. Google 'haiku' for over ten million references(!), at least one of which should tell you whatever you might like to know.

Here's one to start it off:

    Pass on the inside
uhoh the curb is so high
    maybe good to wait

    On the horizon
    I share an eternal love
    with a graceful rose.

And, I am not making love with a rose. It is a metaphor for a woman.

    Testing out a game
    And then get a graphics crash;
    Very frustrating.

    ---Two---
    I wrote a haiku,
But it doesn't make much sense.
    Refrigerator.

This is one of my more gruesome haikus:

    Fate bound to his end
    A soldier charges the crowd
    Cleaving savegely

I made a change by taking a word out of the second line to make it 7 syllables.
