With the game being in early access for quite a while there are still heaps of people that think this game doesn't have a lobby to race online against other players.

The steam integration thing isn't helping, on the contrary, please give us the good old lobby back.

Hope it comes, at the latest, with 1.0
  3. +1 for your call...

Also gymkhana, cruise servers, jump ramps everywhere and other kinds of casual relaxing stupidity, please. :D

Noone wants to do the serious stuff anymore, apparently.

because not every server is interested to install the full steam and the full game?
and you need a steam username with ID...
with the cmd not...same as with my pCars Dedi...
  8. I don't think you'll need a Steam account to install AMS dedi server...

I use my Steam ID on my server. I set it to login offline on the server. ;)

Steam CMD is brilliant to keep the individual servers updated as well. I have 9 servers on 1 machine and its as simple as running Steam CMD on each one when AMS updates are released. Now it only takes a few minutes to update each server.

I still don't understand why the server would need all the content.

I hope that works for you and please let us know. I believe the dedicated servers need the Steam application to at least be running or else they crash. :geek:
