Any hardware techs out there that can identify this? Something being machined? A Jig?

Fanatec stated on Facebook that the product will be available right away. Hopefully it's a servo wheelbase. :)

A consumer grade servo base would be great, could come in the $1000-$1500 price point. Would be compatible with the UVH I expect.

Could be a new belt system, console support is unlikely unless something major has changed, my bet is CSWBv2, CSPv3, or even an F1 wheel.

Falling for what tho? ;) It has to be a wheel, granted, I'm sure the driving force GT states "Power. A lot."
But as Fanatec power baseline is the CSWB it begs an interesting question.
I hope it's not a precise, smooth, rock solid, powerful IPhone holder....:)

A servo system which uses a quick release Iphone holder for the wheel, utilising Apples fantastic gyroscope for steering input.....hiring Fanatec? Plenty more great ideas where that came from. ;)

Why not? Would having support for console as well as PC ruin the wheel for you in any way?

If it was a servo wheel base i wouldnt understand why it would be compatible with xbox and ps4.
You would not get the best out wheel base on a console.
I was thinking it would be somthing hi-end like acc force setup.
    Which is purely pc based.
But we will see what happens:p

I don't care for console support either, but you won't believe how many CSW owners use it on a console, which for me is a waste of it's potential, but a lot of customers like it.
A lot of people think it is only a motor upgrade for the CSW we will see. I hope for direct drive, but I am not sure.
