Hello...!

Hello...!

My name is David (Black Rebel), and I would like to present me and my brother Vicent (basschild) too.

We are from Spain, I was born in Valencia and my brother in Barcelona, we are 29 and 22 years old respectively. Now we are living in the hot south west Spain, we are here for work.

We have been always in love with motorsports since we were childs, and we started in race simulation, as many others, with Geaoff Cramond Grand Prix game...!
We have been playing lot´s of games, and we try always to be as accurate as possible, even in the great game Generally ;) ... we have even been practicing karting for 5 years. Now where we live it´s a quiet village, and the best is that we have near three racing circuits as Cartgaena, Almeria and Guadix.

RPMNet has been a great discovery for us, before sometime playing GTR and GTR2, we found Race and play it online here is fantastic, as I saw my brother last weekend, and I was surprised for the high level drivers in the race, it was fantastic. I will start in Valencia...!

Nice to met you all, and good luck...!

Hi David,

Thanks for your nice intro, and welcome on our forum.
It is always a pleasure when new friendly people are joining our community, hope you will find all the fun here what you are looking for.

Also welcome in our WTCC tournament, and good luck for the races! :)

Cheers: Neo

Hey black rebel,

Welcome, BR.

We had some talking already in the incident issue of me and your bro.

Let's forget about that (since i basicly found your brother to be a very polite driver - we talked on the server a couple of times) and have a great racing time here.

Thx to RPM for their great effort at this point.

Lars

hey guys, yeah sorry i've not been around...
just got back from Hong Kong via a week in Japan with my mates. Has all been very messy, and i'm jet lagged to hell.

Anyway, i'll look forward to catching up with you at the weekend when i'm rested up!

Later fellas! + thanks for the replies ;)

hey Stig!
Yeah HK was a real eye opener. I went back in '96 (before the handover) when i was 16, but it was monsoon season and i didnt really get the chance to appreciate the skyline. We only stayed for 16hrs or so with a friend of a friend, but we certainly packed a lot in. The taxi drivers over there are all nutters, it's like being in some sort of nascar race, and best of all a 30minute jaunt will cost you less than £2!!!
If you're into Urban Jungles, then you cant get better than Hong Kong and Japan really. As i say, it was certainly a shock to my system, as i'm just a country boy at heart lol.
;)

I might post up a link to some pics when i've finished developing (RAW to JPEG).

P.S. Jap cars are astonishing!!

Yeah lots of people who have been to HK are very enthousiastic about it. Would love to see some good skyline pics you made!

trnn - Krister Larsson

Behind the name of trnn there is a real name of Krister Larsson. A mature elderly gentleman closer to 60 than 50 fund of racing in the old days. I'm from Linköping in Sweden and besides from sitting behind my PC trying to narrow the gap in laptimes to my son, Kristofer Larsson, I'm also interested in the real game of golf that I have played since -98. I've started with GTR2 and Race just a few months ago and now lately also with rFactor.

As a profession I'm a product manager in the data- and telecom industri with a backgroud as a systems programmer way back in the old good times when there were no laptops.

And finally what's behind the name trnn you might aks!
trnn is a macro instruction in the KL10 processor from Digital Equipment meaning Test Right half of ac, No modification and skip Never. I.e. it's a NOOP = NO OPerator, doing nothing and compared to the rest of the simracing pro's this is the way I sometimes feel seeing your laptimes. =D>

Hi Krister,

Thanks for your really nice introduction!
Hope you will enjoy to surf our forum and race together with us, feel warmly welcomed here! :)
And about the laptimes, do not worry, they will also come to you.... :)

Cheers: Neo

Welcome Krister,
Hope you enjoy your stay here. Don't worry about the age bit, your not the oldest, I have you by about 3 months. Funny thing, I also spent most of my time trying to keep up with my son ](*,) , but with touring cars (RACE) I have a chance. I was also a keen golfer but haven't played much lately.
Look forward to seeing you on the RPM servers. :)

Warren

Hej Krister,

Good to see more daddy's coming to us. We fully welcome the older racers (read: mature) and about the age: who cares! My dad drives simracing too and is over 60 years now! And he is just a starter.
Laptimes: they dont say that much. Its about how you plan to race. Read the overtaking lines. Where to brake. Show big heart. And use experience
Really appreciate your introduction and wish you all the best here on the forum and on our servers!

Welcome!

Certainly would reccommend visiting HK. As far as accessing the east, it's possibly one of the easiest places to visit as everyone speaks English!! Unlike Japan, whereby 1% of the populace knows a few words... (a very insular society!)

Many thanks to the Stig!

I was directed here by the Stig, looking to improve my laptimes by watching and studying replays before I join you all online.

This looks like a great community by the way.
