Strava build this track back in Feb 2006 for GPL and converted it to GTL later on.
MY BIGGEST RESPECT FOR THIS KIND WORK
It became a bit aged in it's original textures and missing SimBin eye candy
but since the track is still one of my favorites I asked him if it is OK to
clean up the floor a little bit and he kindly agreed.

A1-Ring GTL V2.2

Long time ago in mid '07 Dutch Devil converted A1-Ring for GTR2 based on the rF verison of Genhis99.

DD gave me permission to convert it to GTL but somehow I never found the time to do so.
Now I took the time and added some new features as well...


WHAT WIKIPEDA MENTIONES ABOUT
=============================

The Österreichring is a disused Austrian race circuit which hosted the
Formula One Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from 1970 to 1987.

After being shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring,
it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from 1997 to 2003.

The track is located in Spielberg, Styria.
The old Österreichring was more often referred to as being located at Zeltweg,
which is bigger and better known. However, the circuit was never relocated, only modified.

In addition, the one-off 1964 Austrian Grand Prix was held at Zeltweg Airfield, so this name was already known.
The Österreichring's safety concerns reached a head in 1987 when that year's race
needed two restarts following crashes on the starting grid. As a result,
the track was abandoned by Formula One for nearly a decade.

In 1995 and 1996, it was totally rebuilt, at the same site, by Hermann Tilke.
Its length was shortened from 5.942 km (3.692 mi) to 4.326 km (2.688 mi), and the fast
sweeping corners were replaced by three tight right-handers, in order to create overtaking opportunities.
Its three long straights, as well as a twisty infield section, asked for a setup compromise.

As much of the construction work was paid for by the cellphone provider A1,
the track was renamed the A1-Ring.
It proceeded to host seven Formula One Austrian Grands Prix between 1997 and 2003,
as well as several DTM touring car races.

70sMonza

This is another in the series that was to be used for the rFactor 1970 mod that I did on behalf of NormHart & theCSGT group, that I thought you might like to try it out especially with the recent released CSGT cars, its a version of the 2 earlier monza layouts, 70sMonza and 70Monza10K the one that uses the old banking.

It has Animated marshals, gtL startlites/pitlights, later update may have animated flag starts. Although I have used artistic licence when it comes to the track, and the banking probably was'nt used in the 70's, as I mentioned in GTR2 version, dont pay too much attention to the naming or historical accuracies,. this is a fast paced track and should be fun

The name of the Alfa Romeo has always been untrinsically tied to major successes in touring car racing. The different GTA versions of the Giuilia Sprint GT launched in March 1963 also played a decisive role in there successes.
The racing GTAs, which soon appeared on the circuits, became almost invincible opponents of the established brands. Among other things, this became apparent wen they won the European Touring Car Championships from 1966 through 1968. These successes were only surpassed by one vehicle, the little brother GTA 1300 Junior, which was prepared by Autodeelta, produced up to 160 Hp and beat every opponent in its racing class.
31 championship titles between 1968 and 1974, including winning the European Touring Car Championships five times in succession(1968-1972), speak for themselves.

I thank Relesys which gave me the authorization to convert his circuit version Rfactor worm the SimBin platforms,

I propose this version to you several months after the version of Rfactor origin, because I have to make a large number of modification and of correction which paused a large number of problems, those which know the version of origin should realize changes,

I particularly thank the people who mount to give of their time for this circuit,
