Hi there,
A lot of people ask; Is this wheel supported, Is this wheel supported? Etc. ( I do it myself too

) So that's why I got the Official supported wheel list according to the Codemasters Forum for F1 2011! All Credits Go To Codemasters Staff not to me!

ECCI Trackstar 7000 here, and ffb is superb. Thank God the controller setup problems that plagued Dirt 3 are nowhere to be found here.

That's kinda weird.I Was trying to found this wheel on the net and the highest price was ...40 euro.
I haven't idea if this wheel has several models, but as mentioned the price is way too low compared with the other supported wheels.

Yay my wheel is in the list. Boo CM are a bloody nuisance. I have had to re-write the XML file for my wheel.

They forgot to include these essentials

Exit from instant replay
Tyre selection
Engine mapping

So I put those onto the keyboard (it only has 6 buttons & all were used up)

I also moved Car Status onto the keyboard as 1 of my buttons doesnt work!

& then I added Look Left & Look Right to the keyboard

Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP (10 years old).

I will say, it is no wonder their games are bugged. Their coding was a right mess. If their game coding is anything like their coding for this wheel they will have no chance of finding bugs & correcting them. I may not be a games programmer, but I have done an HND in similar stuff, & there are ways of doing these things... which they don't seem to have done.

I am guessing that there is only 1 version of the F430 wheel, advertised in most places as a PC Racing Wheel, but does actually also work with F1 2011 on the PS3?

Yeah but I wasn't sure if there were 2 versions, 1 for PC, 1 for PS3 as everywhere I have seen just shows as PC Wheel. But I realise it must be ok, checked Thrustmaster site, maybe should have done that initially

Hi everyone

I have a G27 Logitech, I know that in F1 2011 that it's passable to to use own kind of setup, but my question..
I wanna use my clutch for rear view, but when I brows the "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\f1 2011\actionmap
and try to edit the G27 txt file, I don't know what the "clutch's" name in the files since it's not used, the reason why I want to edit the file in the directory instead of editing in the game is the txt file is better cause you have more to edit there.
The acceleration button is win_con_di_axisY
but what is the name of the clutch?

In the game, use the custom profile for your wheel, and highlight rear view, push down pedal, I think this will work?

Thanks for the replay, I know that, but i wanna edit the XML file instead, because it give more to edit, the "custom profile" is it "editable" some where in the C drive? or maybe in the F11 directory? cause i wanna have the "freedom" some things are not listed in the custom profile while in the game, like "Pit request"

I have pre-ordered the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Racing Wheel (Xbox 360 / Pc) and am wondering if it will be supported. Sure hope so, looks neat!

It's not on the "Official supported wheels" but you will be able to use it anyways, the xbox will recognize it as a controller, Though you won't be able to use the advanced wheel settings.

Such as? I'm not aware of what these advanced wheel settings are. Seeing as i can't buy any of the official wheels because they aren't made anymore... I decided upon this one, but am willing to change my mind in order to enhance my race-sim experience.

For those on a tight budget the Madcatz MC2 wheel and pedals (wired) for the Xbox 360 works very well. Got it back in November for F1 2010 and it has proved reliable and hard wearing. No problems with it at all after countless hours use.
