    Thats me signed up
  10. Huge disappointment tonight.

Sorry for the contact Justin, first contact in ages just knocked the stuffing out of me, so ran the rest of the first stint well away form everyone saving fuel, because this is one of the few tracks that I have done with a full tank. It almost worked, came out after my pit in 3rd place and able to control distance to 4th. Got to 40 mins mark with 28 ltr left so no worries on fuel then with 25 ish mins to go lost connection.

    Congrats to podium.

  11. Well, I'll take 5th.

My race tonight was another exercise in the expanding universe theory.
To be more precise, it was also like cooking a duck breast.

Skin side down in a hot dry pan for 8 mins. (The opening laps).
Then roast for 7 mins at 200C. (Bob Miley flirting with me, I think).
Rest for 5 mins. (The remainder of the race).

All I know is that the skin was cripsy and the flesh was pink.

Next time you're worrying about your arb settings or cambers, take a moment to consider, the infinity of the multiverse, how well cooked is the duck breast I'm not even eating?

That's a shame bob. Please don't worry about the knock, that's close racing and I know you'd never intentionally hit anybody. Didn't cost either of us anything so nothing lost :)

OK, two Margarita's and two shots of Tequila later:
I don't think the car mattered much.
In the thick of things and an early chance came about to pick up a couple of places. That meant there would be a hornets nest behind me! Oh, I tried to rive so well but they did catch up. Nathan made a move and it cost me a few places. Change to option B and pit early, maybe we can get to race again later :). That worked out great and "Engage". Of course they were faster, they [Istvan, Nathan] did and I tried to fight but, hey, hey they were faster. I think I gave Nathan a shock when after passing me I shot ahead of him in the first uphill left hander. I wasn't planning a move, just missed my brake point . No major mistakes to the end so I got to finish.

Good news, I'm looking for a pair of driving gloves.
The bad news, I wore a hole in the padding I had over one of my blisters!

Every time I try to play with the setup on these cars, I get slower, then I just go back to my Brands Hatch setup and there we go, it almost always works fine and so it did here.

It was a bit lonely in the race, but every race is fun in it's own way :)
