No broadcast today for Most race

Hello guys,

I want to inform you that Simrace.tv had a problem with the PC we would use to broadcast today and their other PC's are in Denmark for a 24h LAN event, so they can not provide us their awesome broadcast for tonight.

Looking for other alternatives would be possible but unfortunately I don't have time enough to setup/learn everything from scratch, so we will have to follow the race in the live timing this time.

Sorry for the inconveniences, have a good race.

You can broadcast freely up to 50 people I think using this site.

I have a free account myself so I can try to stream but I'd need to be on the server and I'm not sure if you allow me to do it.

There are many free and easy to use live streams avaliable, many can be set up as fast as this thread was created.
If you guys dont find the time for it, then please add or recruit more staff members, a STC race without good coverage
takes away half the rewarding feeling. And ingeneral as the staff puts in less work, the league will lose its touch.
If i was the arranger of this league, i would find it embarrassing if someone not part of the staff (Mikko) would easily do a live coverage
by himself.

We don´t feel embarrased at all, feel free to broadcast it. To me it is more embarrasing to do something a) With bad quality... b) Improvissed... c) Not being sure if I will have the time to set it up. For my experience with the broadcast services we used normally it is quite frequent to have problems... can you imagine with a new one?

By the way, I honestly doubt it take less time than to create this thread Risto... but I am not the specialist.

LiveStream Procaster is a very easy and fast to setup ..
really hope there will be a broadcast someway....

A) Livestream is not really a good option, I rather prefer to don't have a broadcast once than watch 90 mins at livestream (which is not possible with either mine or David's upload), but if Mikko wants to do an unofficial broadcast, he's invited to. I have a livestream account and STC it's own channel since the day was released so I pretty much know it.

B) This league tried to put people into staff for years now but in fact there were not people interested, or they lasted for one week after they realized the time it takes and quit. In general what people wants is to race and have fun. They don't want to be commited to be here day after day for years like I did in the last 3... and if they do, it's for they own thing. Nobody in simracing really want's to participate and contribute to something they don't "own", something common, everytime somebody wants to work in something starts a new thing, call it league, community, etc. so it's not very easy to find people willing to help.

C) Risto, you have to be kidding me, no way I feel embarrassed, I have a total peace of mind regarding what I've done for the people racing this league and what I received in counterpart.

If somebody wants to broadcast, he just have to ask to enter the server and do it.

funny broadcast all alone with Mikko's voice sometimes on my headphones and noone else aparently able to hear him. Hope all of you still enjoyed it, cu next week. thx again, Mikko.
