Hi everyone, took the plunge and invested my 6 euros on a spanky new RBR dvd! lol

Busy d/l the mod/patches etc, so thought I'd say hi. Great tuts on how to get it running in win 7, major help! Looking forward to entering a few rallys once im up to speed! :)

I'm proud of my group, they all have good taste :)

However, the less said about Brian's taste the better..... Ever seen the Italian Job? The Professor?......

Hmmmm, it seems Mr Callans Obsessive, compulsive dissorder is under control with his new medication, but the Tourette Syndrome is still rearing its ugly head again :( Bram and Ivo should never have left him locked up in the GTL Server room over xmas, I said it would worsen his condition...Bless

Thanks Aaron!

Well, just been hangin an ol Mk 2 Escort about, GREAT FUN! I have owned quite a few RS2000's RS1600's and mexico's over the years (even an early twin cam MK1) so lovin this! Cany believe I hadent tried this before tbh. (You guys been hiding this from the rest of us lol)

Seem to be getting to grips with the mod now, but will deffo shout when I need help, thx guys :)

Welcome Brian and Mikael,

Yep the Mk2 is an AWSOME piece of kit. love it, love it LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone can figure out a plugin maybe to give the RWD cars a working handbrake that would be cool, it can be useful to have the option.

We will have to have a Mk2 rally Brian, I want to know how was if fast;)

Thanks Dariusz, bit different to the same ol roundy roundy .Now it's "what was that"...skid ...then crash...where the hell did that tree come from...lol.Really enjoying it,though it can be a bit frustatrating at times trying to get up to speed.

Another RD member new to RBR.

I did post a few weeks ago somewhere in the RBR forums that I was getting the game (a whole £1.99 from www.play.com). Well it finally arrived this morning. Read the installation instructions kindly provided on site, git the game on plus the official patches, then had a play around with it.

Damn, as rally games go, RBR is the dogs doodah's. I'd heard it was good, but didn't realise it was this good.

Downloaded all the latest 2011 MOD, update and car packs (bloody big they were too, lol) and also backed them up to an external drive, lol. Again followed the instructions, installed everything, tweaked what needed tweaking and then went for it.

Got registered without any problems (No. 1019 - as my birthday is Oct 19th) saved the settings, and to my surprise, got everything working first go.

Now, only issue I have is that I am s***e, lol. I can see I'm going to love the RBR experience, and once I get a little more acclimatised with the game, I'll hopefully pop online sometime.

Cheers one and all at RD, for keeping this rallying sensation alive.

;-)

Hiya Daz, glad to hear you didn't get any issues with the game so far. Everyone was **** at the start, and some still are :D

As far as replays go, from this thread: http://www.racedepartment.com/richa...rbr-rsrbr-faq-please-read-before-posting.html

When using RSRBR2011, you can save replays for later viewing. When you finish a Stage using Play Alone or On-Line (Public Session), you will be given an option to Save Replay in the Menu list before returning to RSCenter. Just give the replay a name and save it, but make sure you take a note of any car, weather, track surface options you used for the Stage run.

To view the replay, you need to launch RBR using the "Launch Richard Burns Rally SSE" button.
Before launching, make sure that you have the car, weather, Stage, track surface options set to the same settings used in the Replay. If not, the replay may not run, or will show wrong weather.

After launching RBR, select the MULLIGATAWNY profile, scroll down to Driver Profile, select Load Replay, load your Replay and watch your car in action.
