@Simberia
So i've been racing in pixels since Geoff Cramonds F1 on my Amiga 500!
Been through PSone driving games then xbox 360 (oh even dreamcast) then xbox one.... thats when i got a bit more serious with a TX wheel etc for PCars and AC....
So finally i stepped onto PC gaming...best move ever...
So raceroom is a current favorite of mine it is sublime..

I have AMS and GSCE and GTR 2 ...

Anyway in steps iRacing...3 month sign up for £15, £5 per month, awesome...
So first time out in a practice, i'm thinking...errmmm, whats the hype about....

First 2 races in MX 5.....man...i get it... its AMAZING.....love love love it GIVE ME MORE!!

hahaha...if you're having fun in rookies mx5, you're gonna have a lot more fun once you get to a C license or better. Most fun i've had there has been in skip barber, GT3 (love/hate) and grand touring cup. The multi-player and VR experience is really some of the best out there.

dunno, the chap who started the thread is new, so it wouldn't apply.

@gasoline12 : I would second the skip barber / gt3 recommendation. The basic rule: the more participants a series has (and skip / gt3 are among the top series participation-wise), the likelier you are to get a full grid of players your level. There are other threads here, where we have given new guys a lot of advice, might be interesting:
