All - as you are all no doubt aware, Dave Stephenson has provided us with the "Sign-in" & "Sign-Out" buttons for you to indicate your intention to participate in events.
The fact that they are very easy to use should not be taken lightly by you as users, and they should be treated as if they are a sign up post by you.
In the last week, I've had a couple of people who signed up for events but who never showed up, and did not even have the courtesy to offer an explanation.
We (Bob & I) will be keeping a note of people who do this, and if it becomes more than an isolated incident, we will be removing people from the sign up lists, and kicking people off servers if they ignore the removal from the sign ups and prevent others from joining.
I'll be maintaining a list in the Staff section for all Staff to update with their no show drivers.
So:-
1. If you sign up, you turn up.
2. If you can't make it, sign out.
3. If you are a maybe, don't sign up until you are a definite.
4. In the unlikely event of you not being able to make the event but not sign out, at least have the courtesy to explain.
