New lay-out TT Assen racetrack

I am looking for a BTB specialist who wants to help me with visualizing the modified design of the stadium section of the TT Assen racetrack in Holland.
I enclosed a simple 2D picture with the modified cambered turns, which are turn 1, 3 and turn 4.

My idea is to present a 3D animation which can be shown in a WMV file to the board of the Assen circuit so I want to find somebody who can import the lay-out of the track at Google Earth into the Bobs Track Builder program.

Several riders of the dutch superbike championship, as well the majority of the MotoGP and WSBK riders support this proposal because now those turns cause a lot of accidents so the safety will be improved as well with these minor adjustments of the lay-out.

Please contact me at arnevandenhoek@hotmail.com and I will give you some more details about this design.

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards

Arne, as far as I know none of the currently available sim versions of Assen were made with Bob's Track Builder... And you can't just import the other versions in BTB. So you'd have to make it from scratch - including the latest layout.

Putting the layout itself in BTB shouldn't be a big problem, you can make a basic track in a few hours that way but it'd be a heck of a job making it look and 'feel' like the real Assen (read: would take months).

At the moment i am building a Assen TT version. But that is the 1954 version.

Hoi Erwin,

Gr.
Arne
