Polyphony Digital have revealed the full offering of cars scheduled to release with the upcoming PS4 racer, revealing a nice mix of diverse and exciting driving content...

As well as confirming the 163 vehicles that will form the opening offering of GT Sport on PlayStation 4, Polyphony have also created a rather nice and atmospheric trailer for the Brazilian Grand Prix hosting Interlargos circuit, one of a reasonably small number of real world racing locations that ship with the standard GT Sport release.

Curious to find out what the game will play like prior to release? Check out the details of the new demo available from October 9th HERE.

I never thought I'd be looking at a Gran Turismo car list and thinking "huh, that's it?"

Why? GT Sport is more like in between the Concept/Prologue titles (but with far more content than those) and the main games, with the FIA licence/eSport thing thrown in. A spin-off title. I'm guessing in a few years GT7 will release expanding on GT Sport.

I can understand that, but there's nothing there that particularly appeals to me that I can't get elsewhere. I'm glad they've chosen a focus, but for a series all about variety, having just a few endurance classes doesn't resonate with me, personally, at least.

I know it's just naming thing. But whenever I see Gr.B's actually not being Gr.B is quite hilarious :D

so basically 1-3 car each brand multiplied several Times for the various categories
so PDI still makes the miracle of the moltiplication of the cars :D

Their lighting engine is something almost ubelievable...it looks photorealistic from this trailer!
Project CARS 2, really amazing graphically, still looks like a game compared to GT Sport...
The landscapes on GT Sports are true to life, while on other games are just cosmetic or poorly done

Totally agree. Keep in mind anytime they show this game I'm sure it's on a PS4 Pro which supports HDR, hence the amazing lighting. So, if anyone's in the market I would def suggest getting the Pro at this point.

their replays look better then the in-game, I suppose they have more power to use, since they don't run physics at that point

but yeah, this look like CG renders, so not from actual game engine
it still does look pretty impressive from the replay vids I have seen

So... A GranTurismo game without Skylines? Supras? D*mn, not even a Miata? And what is that "Lancer Evolution Grp B Rally"? I'm not getting it since I don't have a PS4, but I used toplay GT for the cars it had, and this is... Depressing? It looks amazing though

Now if only Sony would ever port this to PC, then it would make me a whole lot happier.
But that will never happen and I don't have the room on my desk for a PS4

GT Sport being an console title, it will by far have the best physics campared to the competition. You. will probably have most fun with this handling model
