I'm think of buying Race 07 because I want to become involved in the odd online race.

I have a few questions,

what do i actually need to race online? Just the basic game or all the add ons?

How much would I be looking at spending?

Is a license required outside of the racedepartment one I have just requested?

I'd say Race 07 is a good choice . The races here, when posted, will tell you which packs you need, if any, more than the base game. Thing is that on Steam for another 6 hours, you can pick up almost everything with 70% off - http://store.steampowered.com/sub/18370/

That's about 8 euros and you're set! I can't recommend it enough for the variety, etc.

No you don't need any license except the RD one

Hi, i'm considering buying it also. Will Race 07 base game suffice to participate in your online Race 07 races or should i buy one of the other bundles on steam that also include some of the expansion packs ?

Besides Race 07 we regularly use content from GTR Evolution, Race On, STCC2[2010], Retro and the Power Pack. Content from other addon's may also be used.
