Need for Speed SHIFT screenshots of the Aston Martin DBR9

The NFS Shift blog showed some great shots of the Aston Martin

The guys on the SHIFT team are busy crafting some fantastic art for next month's E3 conference but we managed to get them to provide us with a couple of new screens before they closed the shutters completely. Having seen some beautiful cars from Japan and the US recently we thought it would be good to look at one of the finest examples of automotive engineering from the UK, the Aston Martin Racing DBR9.
As you'd expect from Aston Martin Racing, the DBR9 has a fantastic racing heritage having won the GT1 class at Le Mans 24hours in 2007 just two years after the car was launched into the racing world. It's a stunning car in real-life and we hope you'll agree that this is one of the best looking cars revealed in SHIFT so far. If you look closely at the shot below you can see flames flaring out of the exhaust on the side. This isn't flaring because it looks cool; it's not flaring because we added it in Photoshop afterwards, it's flaring simply because that's what would happen in the real-world so it happens in the game. Speaking of Photoshop it's always good to restate that these images aren't 'shopped; what you see on the screen is what you'll see in the game.

Does anybody know how the multiplayer in NFS Shift will be arranged for PC?

What happened to the dark forum theme? looked much better, white is too bright

Dark kills the eyes when you come from the mainforum.. Don't worry, still w.i.p. might change back..
Suggestions are appreciated

I prefer the white, much more readable. I think all the forums are just perfect at the moment. Especially the colour scheme from GTLs.

Sounds kinda lame to be honest. With upgrades.... Not sim if you ask me. You don't upgrade gt cars or wtcc cars....

Only 16 player online that blows too.

I really didnt have any hopes for this being a sim. It just wont be. A: EA is behind it. And A: EA is behind it. :laugh2:

I first want to play it and then judge... Previews don't tell much to be honest. Most of the time games are tested by people that can see the difference between a shifter and a wheel so best to judge it yourself

If the ex-blimey crew is responsible for the physics (involvement in GTL and GTR2) then it can't be bad.

Why would they make it another arcade racer when they release the new NFS title in three different versions (arcade, massive multiplay and SHIFT being the sim)
