Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

No steering wheel support whatsoever for PS3, and horrible support for the PC, with manual trans completely lacking and a ridiculously large deadzone. So if you want to play the PC version with a wheel, you're better off avoiding it like the plague.

With PS3 the Driving Force GT wheel works. My little brother got the wheel and game for Christmas.

I've had Hot Pursuit 2010 for a couple of months or so, but it was only today that I was able to finally configure the game to not only use my (temprememntal "8.8.8." bugged) Fanatec GT3 RS v1 wheel for steering, but finally use my Clubsport pedals (using their own USB cable) for throttle/brake (instead of using keyboard)!

The relelvent bit of the "controls" file in <C:\Users\my account profile\Documents\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit\Save\Default> is...
[Config_Porsche Wheel]
STEERLEFT=0,X_AXIS,0.00,-1.00
STEERRIGHT=0,X_AXIS,0.00,1.00
.
.
.
[Config_Clubsport Pedals]
STEERLEFT=
STEERRIGHT=
ACCELERATE=0,X_AXIS (R),0.00,-1.00
BRAKE=0,Y_AXIS (R),0.00,-1.00

Bought it more for nostalgia than anything else, it was Hot Pursuit 2 that got me into racing games with my then Logitech Momo Force (first ever wheel owned) ;)

anyone know of a mod to remove the track and speedometer overlay from the game... IE below:
