Building up to the September 13th launch of NASCAR Heat Evolution, Dusenberry Martin Racing have released the fourth instalment of their developer diary style videos, this time focusing on what goes into creating the tracks that appear in NASCAR Heat Evolution. With the official NASCAR licence behind the game, Heat Evolution will feature all 23 official NASCAR tracks found on the 2016 racing calendar. Mostly consisting of some of America's premium oval locations, NASCAR Heat Evolution also recreates the famous US road course Sonoma Raceway, as seen on the World Touring Car Championship schedule in recent years. To many European racers, and oval is an oval. However the differences between a short oval (less than 1 mile), Intermediate ovals under 2 miles in length and of course the epic Superspeedways coming in at over 2miles long are indeed vast. NASCAR Heat Evolution has all these, as raced this season in NASCAR, and even has night racing under lights at tracks such as Charlotte, or under heavy sunlight at Phoenix. Atmosphere should be well covered in Evolution, I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops when the game is released.
