Multiple Alerts

Strange one, I'm getting multiple alerts for the same message. It started today and has happened a few times. If someone quotes my post, I get an alert message about 2 or 3 times for the same message.
Is there a problem somewhere, or is it only me?

Afraid I prefer the alert and inbox to be where they used to be, they were much more apparent there rather than where they have been moved.

So I just got a triple alert for the same thing, which said I was quoted. Went to the alerts - tried all 3, and there was no evidence of me being quoted. Weird :/

This has been happening for a few days now.. just had three alerts for the same thing.. very annoying.

Did you try cleaning your browser and cookies. Can't reproduce any of the last messages unfortunately

Happening to me as well again. I got three notifications for a single reply.

I think I cracked it though. The reply in question has received two likes. Both likes occurred at the same time that I got a reply notification. So 1 notification for the original reply, and 2 more when those 2 likes happened.

I'm gonna quote Bram there, and if anyone likes my post, he should get more than one notification

If this minor error is a really big thing to you here is a solution that works right away: disable notifications completely in your control panel. Then you will not receive any notifications anymore.

As said before we are looking into the problem and we will report back once its fixed or reproducible.

It's an annoyance Bram, thats all. I access the forums at work and the alerts just help to keep me up to date on replies to threads I am interested rather than going through them all each time.
