MP issues in R3e after update?

How have people been able to connect to servers etc... after the patch

I am having more issues. If I use my vpn I can connect to a mp race but it takes a LOT of clicks on the select livery screen....like 10-20 attempts. More than before on average so far. If I don't use my vpn I can click all day and get no where.

The ping update column is very odd. it just comes and goes, something happens every 10 seconds or so on vpn. Without it, I get no pings.

The time column is a lot more jumpy...seems to me.

Anyone else having issues?

yep thats what i get im in nz but non of the pings show. i now think it may be that the servers have a max ping limit which stops us from joining

I thought we had an ANZ server up and running.........Better wait until after Christmas for MP then........I can work on my driving skills so I might even be competitive in 2015.......

I was even timing my clicks to coincide with a Ping being displayed. It was funny. I'm sure it's nothing permanent. I'm still sticking with the sim.

Sean, your point about the holidays is well taken. I'm off all week and plan on doing quite a bit of sim racing. Right now it's all about R3E and iRacing.

Lol. Just so you know, you don't have to time your click to get in...at least for me. If it is flashing pings, it will let you it, it just takes a random number of clicks on the livery screen.

I'm happy to report that I was able to join a race tonight after a couple of tries. Had a nice 3 way battle in the WTCC 2013's at Zandvoort. Lot's of fun. I only had time for one race and thankfully, it was a good one. Keep up the good work S3!

Oh, I also tinkered with GT Legends tonight. S3, please work on bringing it back as an Experience in R3E.

So it has definitely been the same servers(track/class) that have, or don't have, a ping over the past 5 days or so since I have been monitoring if it changes at all.

I would assume it is the same for others?

I tried to play last night. No luck. No single player, either. It did let me test drive cars, though. Strange.

I haven't been able to race at all. Not even single player. However, it does let me test drive cars. What's up with this? Anyone have any suggestions?

whats your connection? Where you live?

tried it naked? no firewall(router,pc), av etc...

Eastern US, plugged directly to the cable modem/router (sim racing is priority here, rest of the house is on wifi), I was fully clothed minus shoes, and socks were clean. No problems connecting to iRacing. Ever.
