I hope a few more do come. I hate pushing the leaders, it's more fun putting pressure on the backmarkers.

  19. Finally had a stable internet connection, so had a couple of really good races.

1st race: - Qualified 4th, had a bad start, tried to avoid hitting anyone, went down to last. Got up to 4th with people going off, then caught up and passed Michal Szabo for 3rd, which is where I finished.

2nd race: - This was brilliant. Started 6th, had a good start. Got up to 3rd then had a brilliant battle for 2nd with Yves, pushing each other all the way, until Yves spun out. Was fun while it lasted! Couldn't catch Garry Lennon, so finished 2nd.

Dan, I'm glad you get to get your race!

In my offline practice atempts to go fast I was constantly running off the track. I could pull[for me] a quick time but never last 12 laps.

In official practice I found that I could maintain a 1:20.4 second lap.
I planned to qualify on the last row, my attempt was good enough.

R1 I got a good start and somehow stayed out of the melange in T1. Now I had fast guys behind me, not where I wanted them to be. All that got by did it nicely, I was always hoping for a pass at one end of the straight or the other.

R2 From a midpack start I got running and pulled to the left side of the track to let everyone by. After gaing a few free places again I tried to make sure that passes would be at either end of the straight. All those catching up got by me ok!

So I finished two races and a lot of practice laps with very few "off's" on a track and car combo that offered me little traction. Am I supposed to be "that responsible" a driver?
