This post from Marco Bijl made me wonder what happens if d3d9.dll file is renamed or even removed (As it seems to be the case with my Ftruck. Can't believe I've deleted it.). Even mine deleted everything seems to work just fine, telemetry, spotter etc.

Would be nice to hear officially from Reiza what should happen if that .dll is renamed/deleted, if anything apart getting rid of the trackmap.

And btw, not saying you're wrong Marco. Your post just made me curious as mine is missing altogether and still all seems to be good.

it just uses this file of your windows directory if it gets deleted it is purposeley build to use parts of direct x 9, with the monthly updates there are several other files named d3d9_26 or d3d9_37 that just handle certain aspects of dx9 capabilities rF certain just uses a few of them stored in the d3d9.dll
And it is only for the trackmap apart from the one in your windows folder.
