As the lights dimmed on the McLaren automotive stand at Paris, Woking got to work, and boy have they been busy. A p1 prototype has been spotted testing already suggesting they have a rough idea for the P1.

The camo is a bit pointless, we already know what it will look like.

Looks like the camouflage is made out of track maps. I can see Algarve and Bahrain in there...

Anyway, this, or the f70? (as it may or may not be called)

Both will be KERS equipped road cars made by 2 of the biggest hitters in f1.

Interesting. When they came out with 12C I didn't like it at all. I got used to it, especially the Hexis Mclarens in gt1 look good. But I still don't like the rear end.

I wasn't amazed when I first saw P1 either. But I do hope they'll make it quick around tracks as they claim. This car still looks better than any Pagani IMO, even though I like Zonda R, that car looks somehow strange too. But it's at least extreme performance car so it doesn't matter.

Too bad they won't make true F1 remake. That shape is timeless. Oh well, V12 engines are dying and cars are full of electronics and turbos.
