Massa Retiring?

Massa is holding a joint press conference today with Claire Williams 1:45 local time this afternoon. I can only assume this is him announcing his retirement, doesn't seem the thing you'll do to announce an extension.

What do you guys think about this, and what else do you think will be announced (if anything else is announce) if he is retiring?

I can see this happening. I mean he's not really been on it this season and getting beaten repeatedly by Bottas.
The rumours of Button joining due to losing his seat to Vandoorn also add weight to this. Especially if Button isn't asking for too much wedge.

Good decision. He'll not get offers for a front running team as I don't see Williams battle with Merc/Ferr/RB in 2017. He had his best years, had a wonderful career.

Makes sense. Felipe has had a good career and has the money and family for a nice retirement. I like JB but I think he had his moment in the sun with Brawn and should also retire. Drivers having 10+ year careers in F1 really isn't helping the sport because it stops new talent from coming in.
