Marussia will switch to using Mercedes-Benz hybrid power units next season after agreeing a 'multi-year' deal with the German manufacturer.

The team, currently powered by Ferrari, will be supplied with current-year power units under the terms of a deal that will boost Marussia's long-term prospects, according to team principal John Booth.

  2. Certainely a huge move forward for Marussia, but I didn't quite understand
whether they will have the 2015 Merc engines for 2016 or will they pay for the more
expensive 2016 engines like Williams and Force India.
Whatever the case this is a big chance for them to score some points next year...
  3. Mercedes said they will not supply old engines to anyone. So Manor gets the same as FI and Williams do. ;)
