Managed a 1:41:301 in a red bull (PS3 using G25, used the racing line cuz i don't know the track yet but no other assists). It's not among fastest on the board but that's probably more because of me then because of a bad setup ;)

I raised the ride height a little to get over the curbs more easily, and decreased gear ratio because of the short straights, as well as some other minor changes. I'm gonna have a go at budapest tonight, i think I'm starting to like a time trial mode in a game for the 1st time lol :)

Great Setup. Managed a 1:46.xxx in Q1 with the Virgin. Through to Q3 on Hardest AI and just with ABS and TCS Med. Manual Gears.

Edit: Just snatched pole with a time of 1:46.538.

I've found that no paticular setup is perfect, it depends on how you drive and which assists you're using if any. Use one as a base then do some laps and tweak to suit.

I love this track. I'm kind of looking forward the whole season to race here. Kind of weird, because I know a lot of people who hate this track.

Don't know has anyone even tried that barryarends' setup on the third page, but I think it's awesome. A lot of grip, and with a little gearbox fixing is perfect for me. A little weak speed on the straights, but I don't actually mind on that. Best time for now is 1.47 with primes in Career with Lotus(2nd Season).

So thank you for the setup barryanders!

Good Luck!

Career mode, at/full tc 1:45.501 in P1...+2.228 over Vettel with 1:44's very possible. So far best of the setups i've tried. BTW in the McLaren.

Would be nice if pro setupers would explain a bit more, just briefly, why they put certain adjustemnts as they do?

ie, here are "great setups" either with low or high wings, and front or rear ballast etc.. no sense seriously.. unless game is missing some updates? or does it work the same way in real world that the cars and driving styles are that so much different? dont think so.. ie would imagine that one driver prefers wing setting 5 while another one prefers 7 but not 1 vs 11 ? confused.

Anyway thanks for posting setups! I like trying different setups while learning track 20-30 laps but the fastest times I get with own setups ( or fine tuned of some setups posted here).

Patience is the key even thou pedal to the metal :D

Well did the first stint on hard and then the option. Definitely helped and managed to finish 3rd after starting 16th on the grid :) in a Lotus

I set a 1:43:xxx on primes for pole on legend in a ferrari. Vettel set a 1:46:xxx.

I started out on primes and because i'm running no tire wear came in on lap 6 for options.

I was running low 1:45s on the primes, then switched to options and was doing 1:44's and ended up putting up a low 1:43 on lap 27 (of 28)

WHY THE HELL WAS VETTEL ON MY TAIL THE WHOLE TIME.
