REGULATIONS
Every two years, Le Mans Classic takes place on the 24H Circuit during July.
This historic festival accepts cars that raced the world famous 24H of Le Mans in the past.
We will organize a virtual rendition of the event organized since 2002, based on the same kind of regulations and agenda.
There are different grids, to suit each cars class, year and performance, as well as sim-driver skills.
It's not a 24H endurance race, but it’s composed of 20 races overall (20x45’)

Yves Larose and Stig Bidstrup are gonna do races for the EXhibition A and C (not Stig for the Exhib C) races aswell as for Grid 1 and 3 which are using the HistorX 1.96 mod

Yves Larose and Ross McGegor are you going to do the Grid 4 races which is using the DRM 2.0B mod

Throught out the course of the event i'll be updating the thread with the results of the various sessions so keep an eye open.

the first day of qualifications is done and i have posted the results. it was an interesting first day i didn't know what to expect as its a new group of drivers so i have to get to know them. Exhibition A qualifications are done no more of them so we have the starting grid set but in session 2 i did improve with a 4.53.503 on my last lap but it seems to have slipt to the attention of the marshals so my starting position might change as i have send a pm to review my time. In Grid 1 seems like my car choice wasn't the best but i did improve my time and i'm hoping to be able to shave some times in the next sessions and maybe move up in the standing. Grid 3 so far is mine and i'm pretty confident that i can be a little faster so we'll see what happen.

Today (Thursday) is not a very busy day for me i only have 3 session to do, exhibition C with the Porsche 906 and Grid 4 with the DRM Toyota Celica Turbo. The DRM cars are new to me so i just want to do as well as i can do so i don't have any expectations i'm sure Ross McGregor will do better then me as he as been driving the cars for a long time.

i would like to know if there is nay of the teams entering the race that would like to have me onboard? i won't be able to do many of the races because i won't be avaible during the nigth of Saturday and i migth need a part of the morning of sunday to recover from the nigth out :D
i will be happy to drive any car, i will be more than happy to do the first three races on Saturday, and from 11 GMT onwards in Sunday. I haven't had much practice because i didnj't saw this event, but if someone want's me onboard i will be glad to start practicising today

First let me announce that RDX have 2 new members, Denis Betty and Rui F. Martins, welcome to the team guy's :)

The second day of qualifications is now done and dusted and it was a quiet day foe team RDX. we only did Exhibition C and Grid 4 qualifications placing me in third place on the grid for the start of Exhibition C race and placing both of RDX cars in Grid 4 in the forth row but its provisional. In Grid 4 i know i can improve my time i just need to put out the perfect lap and i'll be able to move up at least 2 places.

Today (Friday) is a much busier day for Team RDX so lets hope we'll be able to improve.

The final day of qualifications is now over and it was a much busier day for Team RDX and since we improved some of our time it asn't result in gain of positions in many cases. Ross took the pole for the Grid 4 races so thats very good and Yves Larose got ripped of his pole position in Grid 3 at the last qualification session when he thought he had it in the bag but still not a bad position to start the races.

in 1 hour 30 minutes its the start of the first race of the week-end so keep an eye open for an update with the results as they come. Good luck to all drivers of the team and may the speed be with you :)

Setups
upgrade used ( no Misshifts ) no Autoclutch
Rotation on G27 Daytona setup 746 degrees pantera 557 degrees

For anyone wondering just how much fun taking part in this event can be.... well it's awesome.
In my last race I was racing with some of our nearest rivals in the points table - RaceConnect (RC61, RC62 & RC63). In the end I came 7th, but could (arguably) be considered unlucky not to have finished higher.
Great race though, I'm hopeful that Stig (if he can find the time) may be able to make a highlights video of it.
We should definitely enter a full team (or two) for this next year.
Thanks Yves for getting me involved.

The Le mans 2014 event at Simjunkies,com....is over....We didn't win anything
But I can assure everybody that this event WON our HEARTS....like Denis says its...awesome.
its a very special thing being there as a TEAM...like on Friday night when I was spectating and recording ( LIVE ) the DRM Qualifing with teammates @Yves Larose and @Ross McGregor......Ross being the DRM specialist
I see Yves moving over for Ross on the Straigth so he can set his time....I see the Valliante Team getting more and more
frustrated ( they normally drive out 1-2 times then they set POLE )..In the final minutes of Quali...they try to hang on to Ross
but they cant...I am now recording from the hood of the Porsche...He crosses the line...and the time runs out....... and Yves shouts to me over TeamSpeak ( Stig did you see ..Ross just did a 3:46) POLE...he just nailed that one...that was just one part of this 5 days event.

Many thanks to @Yves Larose for getting a team rounded up and the hard work with skins for our cars
and for doing a looot of races for team RDX and getting some impressive results.
( I would bet he is sleeping like a baby right now )

Stig Bidstrup

i have updated the Teams standing with the Final results.

we didn,t beat Teame RaceConnect but we gave it our best, Stig and Denis doing races that they didn't initial plan to do and me putting an all nighter and do one more race to give us a fighting chance to beat them. at the end they got the best over us by 91 points which is not alot since they did more Grids then us and that they were more drivers then us on every Grids they took part of compare to us.

on a personal note i,m satisfied with my performance given the time we had to prepare for it, i only got one DNF which was caused by a pc frooze rather then a crash or an engine blown. the competition was good and had a few good clean and fair battle throught out the races i've done. i'm looking forward to next year event and hopefully we'll have a full team fully prepared covering all the Grids so we can take the fight to the big teams.

i wanna thank my fellow team mates @Ross McGregor @Denis Betty @Stig Bidstrup for joining me in this adventureand doing the best you could do :) also thanks to @Rui F. Martins for trying to join us but was unable due to SimSync problem.

till next year guy's

I wish I had time to take part in more events, but yeah i'll try my best to be there next year too! Me and Le Mans have unfinished business after a couple of terrible races.

Thanks again for organising Yves!
