Left paddle shift not working (XBOX 360 FFB wheel)

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

The left down shifter suddenly stopped working on my wheel.

Has anyone seen this and been able to fix it. Or does anyone have a link explaining how I might fix it?

this link shows you how to take it appart... but i cant help futher sorry..my wheel hasnt had this problem yet, mine was is a little offset to the right and that can be cured but it meant taking it all apart..http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/4690562.aspx

I've taken my wheel apart following the instructions in the link above.

Left paddle is flexing so not touching the button on the circuit board. Might need to replace it.

Just an update for anyone interested. My left paddle shift was very brittle and eventually fell apart. That was the reason for it not making contact and not working.

Rupe, I tried to follow the thread you had listed but it was unable to. My paddle came off along with the spring. Can you send me a new link or email me the diagram on how to fix a paddle shifter on my xbox 360 wireless wheel. Thanks, weiglsteven@hotmail.com
