F1 2012 lap time qualification and race

in my career the ki lap times are always faster in race then in qualifying.
is that a bug?

no. its just poor programming.

Quali times should be a couple of seconds faster than the fastest lap in a race due to fresh tyres and unlimited DRS use.

I've seen it modelled correctly for 2011, but I don't know why it wasn't so with 2012. It's entirely possible to get pole position in 2012, and then get completely swamped during the race because somehow the AI are able to do quali times in the race.

I don't understand why they don't fixed this.
So, the only solution is to play with two different level of difficulty?
Legend for quali and pro for race for example. Or have someone another solution?

Here the same. In qualify I can manage to get competitive lap times on legend, but in race I'm owned by AI. For the moment, as suggested above, when it's time to race, I switch difficulty to professional. It seems like, in race, AI is allowed to use always DRS. They do qualify lap time (rapported to fuel weight).
XBOX 360 version, with microsoft wheel old version.

The bad thing is that, at professional difficulty, I can beat AI very easy. I'm in a situation in witch legend is too hard and professional is too easy .
