F1 2010 Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia (Dry)

F1 2010 The Game (Codemasters)
I drive with all assists ON, except Brake Assist. I use AUTO gears.

I'm in my 3rd season of a 7 year career, driving for Ferrari. This season I am attempting to get the Triple World Champ and Expert World Champ achievements in the same season. I set the difficulty to Expert, then turn ON the assists I need during each session and turn them OFF again before a session ends. (Exploit: the game only saves at the start and end of each session, so you can effectively "trick" it into thinking that your playing on Expert with NO assists!)

Malaysia:

I can only manage 1:38 with Ramon's setup. 3 secs slower than the Expert AI.
I have tried Fallas' setup, but I couldn't beat 1:38. Should Fallas' setup work for me?

Please respond as this track is turning into a nightmare for me!

Hi There,

Ik did a 1-34 on time trial, but when I get the same setup during qualifying I can't get any faster than 1-38.2......
Can anyone explane this.
I'm driving Cosworth, 1st season of 7 seasons carreer.....

I'm playing on my computer, with a brand new G27 (works great)....

I've also tried the setup of fallon, but can't get any faster than 1-38.xxx

I'd really like to know why my setup from timetrail doesn't work in qualifying.....

In timetrial there is no fuelsim and no tyre wear, conditions are optimal. In career tyre wear and fuel sim are enabled, which gives a total diferent experience and car behaviour(more understeer is the first thing you'll notice).

Thanks to Fallas for his setup (posted on 1st page). I used this on the Lotus on my second season. The car handled like a dream in every bend and when the track changed from dry to wet this setup still worked well for me. Tyre wear was also very good however I found the rear right and front left wore slightly quicker, but this did not effect the car in any way.

The only change I made as to the gearing. I basically used the default gearing setup from the fastest setup.
1st = 90 mph
2nd = 111 mph
3rd = 131 mph
4th = 152 mph
5th = 174 mph
6th = 196 mph
7th = 220 mph

I did not know that. When I take a lap of Sepang in a Williams (PS3), I find I set my best times about 5 laps in. 1:34.063.

Out to Fallas for the tune! Cheers mate.

My tip for u is: Use the default setups BUT put the wings on like 6-7 and 2-3...
I play pure hardcore, no assists, tyre sim on and i have a Logitech G25 wheel.
In "Grand prix-mode" i got the time 1.34.178
PS:i don't drive in time trail so i have no time there...

In a BMW Sauber, with your setup but changing to 1/1 or 2/1 can't remember which now, I've done a 1:30.912. ( improved to 1:30.785 now). It's quite a bit slower car than McLaren so quite pleased with that. :)

With TeamAI Toolkit installed on Season 2, full race weekend, 100% races, no assists, expert mode (not custom).

In the BMW Sauber I did a 1:38.008 on prime tires in Practice 3, started to rain so didn't get a chance to see option time.

Anyways, had to modify the setup because for some reason with the ride height set to 11, the car exits the pits like it had the same Force India bug. I closest I could get for getting some speed in the pit exit was 3 front height and 2 rear height. Key was to keep the front and rear as close to same as possible. If I set it to 2 front and 2 rear, it acts normal. But as soon as the front is higher than the rear, it bugs out.

Edit: (Below)
Qualify: 1:35.758

Before qualifying I decided to set front height to 2 as well, so both front and rear were the same.
