A new trailer has been released from the little studio of Black Delta for the upcoming Early Access release of KartKraft.

The trailer itself features driver animations, car mechanics, bodywork, chassis and tyre flex, smoke behaviour and a fantastic looking implementation of rain! Additionally, there have been a new batch of screenshots released to compliment the fantastic looking trailer.

KartKraft is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2016 as a part of Steam's Early Access program.

    Over to you!
Will you be purchasing KartKraft when it's released on Steam?

  5. Here are some posts from KartKraft on Facebook answering questions, though you guys might like what they say:

Franz Albedo It's a Sim o Simarcade? Physics looks weird... beautiful graphics, however, thanks unreal engine!

KartKraft Hi Franz - It's a full simulation. As karts are easy to drive, but difficult to master, we don't need to tune the physics to make it easier. More on how this is achieved, to come in an upcoming dev blog.

Dennis Wehdeking will be simulated in a rain situation the wet line? or in other words will be simulated rubber on the track and that leads to a slippery track?

KartKraft Hi Dennis Wehdeking - Yes it is. You'll have to brake down the inside, cross over to the outside of the track, then smoothly power out staying off the dry racing line!

Also they are saying it will come out to Early Access in Q1 2016 and there is a console release planned for the future. So far I'm loving what I see and what I hear.

Given the fact that this is implemented, I'd expect a dynamic dry line to be there as well.

Voted no. We have Karts in Game Stock Car. Mostly no crowd showed up, never did anyone ask for a league. Now Kart races are gone forever. And suddenly all anonymous voters come with a yes? Why not earlier? In the races we had?

    Yes! Wow that looks fantastic

  13. Because no one has actually designed a game around the real karting. No other simulator has actually produced a real life experience for karts. This game is aiming to do so, this is why.

Here's their latest blog post from December:

    "Hi all,

After rushing back to Australia from our incredible reception at Gamescom 2015, we’ve been deep in the trenches preparing for KartKraft’s Early Access release. There’s been a huge demand for new content and screenshots from the game, as well as an influx of emails, tweets and comments of your suggestions and game ideas. We’ve listened, added them to our feature request list, and have already begun incorporating some of those ideas into the game.

It has also been very clear that we need to increase the frequency of posting new content and improve our communication with you. Balancing an increasingly demanding development schedule alongside running the studio, has highlighted the need for us to add someone dedicated to being your eyes and ears inside the studio. Having led the Gran Turismo community, as well as several other AAA titles, he’s here to make sure you’re kept completely up to date. No more radio silence, guaranteed!

And now a quick update on KartKraft; after the feedback from our weekly testing sessions at Black Delta HQ with local gamers and kart drivers, we’ve decided to extend the launch of the game to Q1 next year to add additional features, improvements and optimisations to the game, which we’ll detail in an upcoming blog post. In the next week we’ll be releasing KartKraft’s first teaser trailer since the switch to Unreal Engine 4. With exclusive in game footage, new tracks and features, it leaves the Greenlight trailer in the dust!

Finally, we’ve got 5 brand new unedited in-game screenshots taken in KartKraft, showing the official 2015 Praga™ Dragon Evo with the 22hp IAME™/Remo Racing™ KA100 motor lapping the laser scanned Geelong Kart Club circuit in Melbourne, Australia."

^^ Those screenshots can be seen in the OP

As we all here in RD did never want to drive karts, where did this hype train come from?
