I just keep getting the starter message....

Yeah, nothing happens when I click the .exe in the Assetto Corsa folder so I don't get an opportunity to set up a profile - the config menu doesn't appear like it does when I use joy2key as a standalone program outside of the game. Any ideas?

Watch out the application bar. You should see the icon. Normally doesn't popup the menu

guys can you please help me i want to use this for my fanatec how can i bind the right to the arrow pad of the keyboard cant find the right stick in the dropdown menu

so i want to have my bmw gt2 wheel acting like the arrow pad on the key board so ik can use it for looking around left right and back.

no the left stick does not work in directions a can only center press it for one action not for five up down left right

Ok. Go to AC, settings - controls and in advance check combine keyboard. Write down the keybutton for looking left, right and press those in joytokey settings

This stopped working for me after working for months, i have no idea why. I enable it in game options, make sure ac.exe is selected in j2k. but it never starts i have to manually do this which i often forget to do lol.
The only thing i can think of was that i was having an issue with another app so i removed the contents of the python folder & added them back one by one to try & find the bad plug but this one never worked again. I wondered if it was to do wit the system folder or something else.

Really strange issue. Mine is working fine. Verify AC cache from steam

I have this issue on and off for a while:

joy2key will throw this error message during loading into a session and will not work - button mappings are non functional.

Verify that Windows Defender doesn't interfere with joy2key.exe. Try also take ownership to joy2key folder

Problem solved!

The likely culprit was a Playstation 4 controller attached to the computer for charging. Apparently joy2key does not like that.

The moment the other controller was disconnected everything was working as expected again.

im trying to make ac recognize my joystick axis as 2 keys one for shifting up and one for shifting down, but i cant make this work
