World Championship Director
Currently I hold the position.
Overview:
The World Championship (WC) Race Director shall be responsible for the operational success of the Formula SimRacing (FSR) WC League. He/She will have influence on the International SimRacing (ISR) Club Board and will work together with the World Series (WS) Race Director to ensure a close relationship between the two Leagues.
Appointment:
The WC Race Director is appointed by the ISR President, the appointment is then subject to seconding by one other Board member. The WC Race Director may be removed or replaced if supported by at least two Board members, one of which being the President.
Duties:
The WC Race Director shall be responsible for the following specific roles:
Highlights - Cameras
Overview:
From the official WC Race Replays, make decent and logical highlight videos. These should not be more than 5-7 minutes in length. These will be uploaded to the official FSR YouTube channel.
Appointment:
Appointed by the ISR President and Media Director
Duties:
Liase with Highlights Commentator after video is finished. Commentator will then add audio to the highlight to be uploaded.
Race Director Assistant
This would be a good opportunity to dip your feet into directing without the full responsibilities. Also a training opportunity for those wanting to be directing next season.
Overview:
The Race Director Assistant shall be responsible for the operational success of the applicable Formula SimRacing (FSR) League (WC, ACE or PRO)together with the corresponding Race Director and under his/her supervision. He/She will have voice on the International SimRacing (ISR) Club Board and will work together with the applicable Race Director to ensure the functionality of the corresponding League.
Appointment:
The Race Director Assistant may be appointed by the any of the Race Directors to assist in his/her duties. The Race Director Assistant may be removed or replaced by the applicable Race Director or the ISR President.

The WC Race Director shall be responsible for the following specific roles:
- Ensure at all times that the rules, supplements and Court of Appeal decisions are adhered to by all WC participants (drivers and teams)
- Oversee the efficient and accurate verification of WC results
- Clarify rules if asked by teams/drivers
- Be the marshall in World Championship Online Race Sessions, or if unavailable, be responsible for finding a credible substitution
- Investigate and judge on Race Incident
- Liase and negotiate with the WC Teams, the finalization of rules prior to the beginning of each season
- Ensure the accuracy and validity of published WC results on the FSR website.
- Liase with technical departments such as server, database, programming and carset to ensure that these departments supplement the running of the league, as well as further progressing the league’s procedures and technology
