Apps Is anybody able to get acsys.CS.Aero from Python?

No matter what I do...
Code:
ac.getCarState(0, acsys.CS.Aero, acsys.AERO.CD)

...in several variants always gets me "0.0" as a result (non-scalar). Doesn't matter what I put as the third parameter.

Is this just not delivered by the engine these days or am I being stupid? It would be a nice value to have since it allows you to computer current power, and since it gives you the lift values for front and back it would allow for nice visualization of your aero settings. Right now you have to get a lame variant of aero effectiveness from suspension height.

As far as I recall, the aero stuff has always been absent from the telemetry (no idea why it's in the API). I'm remembering this from reading threads on the AC forum - have a look and I'm sure you'l find it quickly.

I really apologise if i have poked my nose in half way through a subject.

Probably interpreting the above chit chat completly incorrectly

I quite often use the aero app used by the developers to set my gt3 car up.!!

I always assumed every one used it.

Don't give me toooo much stick neil.:barefoot:

No worries man ;)
Yes, that works fine, but the Python interface is unable to get at the data, which is a shame, as it means that aero telemetry data can't be saved.

Thanks, folks. Oh well, one thing less to play with. I still think that I can probably find these out based on ride height @ speed on the endlessFloor map.
