iRacing announced today that the simulation can be enriched with two additional tracks and two brand new cars which are all up for pre-order at the iRacing website.

The release of iRacing 2.0 may still be a few weeks away, but iRacers can get a jump on some of the content thanks to iRacing’s first ever Four-for-All. That’s right, four exciting features of iRacing 2.0 –Iowa Speedway and Suzuka International Racing course, the Ford GT and LMP ARX 01c – are now available for pre-sale. That’s one of America’s finest new speedways, a world class road circuit, an iconic GT machine and one of the fastest sports prototypes ever built. In other words, something for everyone.

Ford GT & LMS ARX 01c
The Ford GT is a modern version of the car that defeated mighty Ferrari at Le Mans in the 1960s. How modern, you ask? The iRacing Ford GT is a digital version of the car that David and Andrea Robertson and David Murry piloted to third place in the GTE Am class in the 2011 24 Hour of Le Mans. Better yet, the LMP ARX 01c is based on the Strakka Racing entry that Nick Leventis, Danny Watts and Johnny Kane drove to first place in LMP2 at Le Mans last year.

    Suzuka & Iowa
Featuring iRacing’s first active overpass, Suzuka’s distinctive figure eight layout has been the scene of epic battles featuring the likes of Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna (and Eddie Irvine), Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso in the Japanese Grand Prix. Iowa Speedway’s 7/8 mile oval annually plays host to the IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights Series, as well as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the Nationwide Series, where Josh Wise will be racing his JR Motorsports Chevy in the special iRacing 2.0 livery designed by iRacer Kevin King on August 6.

    Pre-order today
All four cars and tracks are scheduled to be available in or shortly after the iRacing 2.0 release. But why wait? Take advantage of the iRacing Four-for All pre-sale now! And don’t forget, you receive an automatic 10% discount when purchasing any three pieces content, a discount that grows to 20% with the purchase of six pieces of content . . . and 25% when you purchase content that brings you to 100% of the available cars and tracks.

The tracks sell for $14,95 and the cars for $11,95 each.

Head on over to the iRacing.com website and pre-order today or visit the iRacing forums here at RaceDepartment for more information.

One Acura LMP 2 please, thanks

  3. Ford GT pls :)

  4. Ford GT for me, leave the flowers!

  5. I'll take a Ford GT, Acura LMP, a slice of Suzuka and a side order or Iowa please and go easy on the fries.

  6. I'll take what Kevin is having, it looks too good.

  7. I am so looking forward to these cars with the new tire model, aero and suspension. My favorite road car is now the tank called the Nationwide and it's because of the tire model. It's the only thing I drive now.... Can't wait for true road cars. :)

  8. Does anybody know which licenses will be required to drive these cars?

    Cheers!

  9. Not sure but I would guess at least Class C for the Ford GT, perhaps even Class B and for the Acura likely class B or A. Purely my speculation based on the other cars in the iRacing service.

  10. @Kevin

    I agree.

I think Ford GT is a car similar to Corvette C6.R, in terms of driving style and will require a Class B License at least.

The LMP ARX 01c is probably a car that will demand all skills a great driver has, and will ask for a Class B License minimum as well. Maybe the driving style of this prototype car is easier than the FW31 Williams-Toyota, which will remain alone in the Class A Road Racing.

The new tracks are also great picks for the iRacing community.

Waiting Brazilian Track Interlagos and Indy Lights car (maybe 2012).

    Thanks lads!

  11. I wouldn't hold your breath on Interlagos. iRacing has been there and taken the pictures required for texturing but Brazilian customs officials would not allow the laser scanning equipment into the country for some unknown reason so its on hold indefinately at the moment but thats good news for British racing fans as they said their modelling team have spent the time they would have been working on Interlagos working on Oulton Park instead.

  12. Acura B license
    Ford GT B license

    confirmed

  13. Thanks man!
