F1 2010 Input lag after installing patch

Hi all,

I was probably one of the few people that didn't have any input lag whatsoever when playing the game. The steering, braking and acceleration always responded immediately after pressing in the pedals or steering the wheels.

I just installed the patch though, and the first I noticed was that I now have a ridiculous amount of input lag on everything. Checked my settings, and everything was still the same. Am I the only one who's steering, braking and accelerating has been completely ruined now?

I liked this game a lot, but all the bugs made me not starting it up again untill after the patch. And now it's completely ruined. Great going Codemasters.

I have the same problem with my G27, hope i find some way to correct it through the settings of the wheel.

I seem to have a lot of dead Zone when Steering with a G25 wheel but the dead zone is set to zero in the settings.

yeah ive noticed my wheel and pedals feeling off, all the settings are right. i was losing accelleration last night and i had to release the pedal and accellerate again to continue gaining speed

Well I found out your sound settings are changed again after the patch. It set itself back to Rapture. Change it back to software, and it should feel good again. (worked for me)

I got the steering almost back to how it was before the patch, besides the above mentioned audio setting change i also set the post-process setting to off, this really got rid of the lag for about 95% for me.
Still not perfect, but at least i can get around the track without crashing at almost every corner again.
