We have three great events for you in the rFactor Racing Club this week. The GP2 2011 cars visit the Road America circuit in the US, the scene of yesterday's 6 hour RDLMS event. The circuit features several long straights with a few twisty bits in between meaning that you need to compromise with your setup. It should also mean that battles will continue for more than one corner. The event, will feature two, 20 minute races with an open 10 minute qualifying session before each. To take part in this event, go to the thread here and leave a message. Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's also travel to the US but to the Mid-Ohio circuit. We will be using the no chicane layout which opens up more chances for pulling off an overtaking move. The second half of the lap features several undulations which will test car control and open up the possibility of forcing a car into a mistake. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. The second 20 minute race will feature a reverse grid (details are available here). To signup, just leave a message in the thread. The GT3 cars will be back on Friday and will race at the British circuit of Croft. This Yorkshire track is one of the most popular on the BTCC schedule and always provides great racing. The event will consist of 2 twenty minute races with a ten minute qualifying before each. You can sign-up for the event here. All of our events now include Live Timing, which is proving to be popular. You can view this here.
