This week sees 4 mouth-watering events in the rFactor Racing Club. Tonight sees the hugely popular F1 1992 event take place at Montreal after a great event last week at Estoril. The event will feature two, 20 minute races with an open 10 minute qualifying session before each. To take part in this event, please choose an available car from the list (available here) and post it in the thread.

Monday features the V8 Supercars return to home soil and the fabulous Eastern Creek circuit. At just over 3.9 Kilometers in length and going over hills, this track often provides superb entertainment. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. The second 20 minute race will feature a reverse grid (details are available here). To sign-up just click the sign-up button found in the first post.

As was announced earlier, the DRM cars are winging their way to Le Mans for what will be a fantastic event on Wednesday. It will feature a 10 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. Finally, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars will be heading to the South of France, to race around the twisty Nogaro circuit. Just like the F1 1992 event, it will feature two 20 minute races with a 10 minute open qualifying session before each. The sign-up thread will be opened later this week.

The rFactor Racing Club this week serves up four great events just for you. Sunday night sees the F1 1992 event take place around the temporary street track of Melbourne. Monaco last week featured lots of thrills and spills for all the drivers and Melbourne should be just as exciting. The event will feature two, 20 minute races with an open 10 minute qualifying session before each. Monday features the V8 Supercars blast around the Calder Park circuit. With just 9 turns, most of which are chicanes, and long straights, we will see a lot of high speed action. Salzburgring will play host to the DRM Revival cars on Wednesday night. The track was used for the DRM between 1979 and 1981 and saw three different winners. Klaus Ludwig and Manfred Winklehock won in the Porsche 935, whilst Hans-Joachim Stuck won with the BMW M1 Turbo. Will the Lancia Beta, Ford Capri, or the BMW 320 be able to buck the trend in this event? It will feature a 10 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. Finally, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars will be heading to the Fabled Watkins Glen GP circuit on Friday night. With it's high speed and cambered corners, it is a real drivers circuit. Just like the F1 1992 event, it will feature two 20 minute races with a 10 minute open qualifying session before each. Details and the sign-up button can be found in the thread here.

Monday features the V8 Supercars tackle the streets as they go around the Surfers Paradise circuit, situated on the Gold Coast. With walls all around you, you will need a deft touch. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. The second 20 minute race will feature a reverse grid (details are available here). The DRM Revival cars are heading back across the Atlantic on Wednesday as they visit Road Atlanta. Featuring the famous esses and a long back straight, the 4 kilometer circuit will suit all cars. It will feature a 10 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. Finally, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars will be heading back to England at the Cadwell Park circuit on Friday night. With a high speed start to the lap and a technical finish, this should suit drivers of all skills. Just like the F1 1992 event, it will feature two 20 minute races with a 10 minute open qualifying session before each. The sign-up thread will be opened later this week.

Monday sees a change of mod with the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's racing around the redeveloped Donnington Park National circuit. The only real change from the previous circuit is the final chicane has been brought forward to allow for a longer start and finish straight. These cars will also provide plenty of entertainment with close racing very likely. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. Rouen-Les-Essarts will again be the venue for the DRM Revival cars on Wednesday, however they will be using the newer version of the circuit which has a lot more twists and turns than its predecessor. It will feature a 10 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. Finally, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars will be staying in England as they travel to the high speed Thruxton circuit. Getting the power down early will be the aim to be able to compete at the front of the field around here. Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's racing around the Sprint Series layout of the Birmingham Motorplex. Last weeks event contained a lot of thrilling action and this week will be no different. Over 20 people have signed up to this event already so if you want to race, you better get in quickly. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. The full course of Virginia International Raceway will be used as the venue for the DRM Revival cars on Wednesday. With plenty of twists and turns and two longish straights, this track has something for everyone. Finally, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars will complete our round trip with a return to the Brickyard. It will again use the GP layout which will offer up some great action. Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's visit the Norisring in Germany. We will be using Com8's newly released and brilliant version for this event. Last week saw 31 drivers attend and this week is also attracting a large crowd. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. Australia's most famous track, Bathurst will be used for the latest installment of the DRM Revival mod on Wednesday. This track demands huge respect but getting it right gives you a great feeling. It will feature a 10 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. Finally, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars will take a trip to New Zealand to visit the historic Pukekohe Park Raceway. At just under 2 kilometres in length and with long straights, this is one of the fastest circuits in the Southern Hamisphere. Just like the F1 1992 event, it will feature two 20 minute races with a 10 minute open qualifying session before each. The sign-up thread will be opened later this week.

Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's visit the Kinnekulle Ring in Sweden. A short circuit with plenty of undulations will keep the drivers on their toes. High-speed racing is the aim of the game as the DRM Revival cars do battle on the 1988 version of Hockenheim on Wednesday. The track runs through the forest and is broken up by three chicanes before entering the twisty stadium section. Can the mighty power of the BMW M1, Porsche 935, and the Ford Capri take victory, or will it go to the more nimble and fuel efficient BMW 320 or Lancia Beta? It will feature a 10 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. Along with the above, this week will also see a change of mod for the Friday events. After the successful running of the PCC mod for a good 7 months the Friday GT slot will be moving to the NAGT mod. The NAGT mod, which features cars ranging from Aston's DBRS9 to Nissan's Skyline, will be ran using various different formats intended to compliment the various circuits. Formats will include short 20 minute sprint events and longer 'endurance' races, which may also include day/night races. We hope this mod will inject more members back into the rFactor GT spot and with the move to a multiple chassis mod could provide more fun. Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's visit the now defunct Oran Park Raceway. The track was only closed last year to allow for new housing development, however, the track was laser scanned and it is that version that will be in use. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. The second 20 minute race will feature a reverse grid (details are available here). The famous Nordschleife circuit, located in the Eifel mountains will see the historic DRM cars do battle. It was always a popular track on the DRM calendar with 3 events a year regularly being the norm. 1981 however, saw this number rise to 4 for the final season of the DRM. This event will feature a 20 minute open qualifying session before an hour long race which will also feature a formation lap and a rolling start. The NAGT mod is in action on Friday around the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the Ardennes Forest. Many manufacturers are represented in the mod. From the Aston Martin DB9 to the Nissan Skyline GT-R, there is a car for everyone. This event has a different format to last weeks successful event at Monza, and will feature an open 10 minute qualifying session. The race will last for 50 minutes and will be going from daylight to darkness. The sign-up thread will be opened later this week.

Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's visit the A1-Ring in Austria. The track was re-designed by Hermann Tilke after it was dropped from the Formula One calendar over safety concerns. The track still uses some of the straights of the original but corners were added to shorten the length and make it slower. The event will have an initial 10 minute open qualifying session before a 20 minute race. The second 20 minute race will feature a reverse grid (details are available here). Held between 1976 and 1983, it was mainly dominated between the Ferrari and Mclaren teams. The event will feature two, 20 minute races with an open 10 minute qualifying session before each. Monday sees the Peugeot 207 Super 2000's tackle the tight and twisty Varano De' Melegari circuit in Italy. Such is the nature of the circuit, the cars will be close together which will lead to good close racing as we have seen in previous weeks.
