in of need some kind of help

so ive recently purchased rFactor2 and i am having a strange issue i haven't experienced before.

for whatever reason with any car when they are within about .3 seconds of myself. its almost like the cars are skipping or jumping forward in position. i have no idea what may be causing the problem if anybody has any ideas to help me out it would be greatly appreciated

2 possible reassons:
- CPU usage
- Or if it happens in multiplayer: high or unstable Ping

But i think your CPU is maxing out. You can monitor this if you press "ctrl c".

In the top right corner you'll see this:

The purpel bar is your rF2 CPU usage, when it's maxing out the purpel bar is full and the little spike bellow it will start to move to the right. This is the point when you are "running out of real time". It's you that is warping back and forward, not the other cars. But from your point of view it looks like the other cars, be aware of this when it happens online.

Solution:
For offline:
- Reducing the amount of AI, until it doesn't happen no more.
- PP effects have an influence on CPU usage: medium, low or none are CPU friendly. High and Ultra have an extra load on the CPU.
- Buy a CPU with a higher clock speed. For gaming clock speed is more important then the amount of cores.
