In game lighting

Hey all

Im not sure if I have my RACE setup properly but it seems sessions are really dark especially as time goes on - even though its the middle of the day (looks like dusk). I really hate this aspect and coupled with the windscreen effects its difficult to see the track properly, is this a known bug and is there a way to fix it?

Well, as far as i am concerned it is not a bug, but yes, as the time goes on for example at the 1 hour pre-qualy settings now on the server, from the middle of the session onwards the lighting considerably lower, making it a bit harder to drive precisely.

I think it is the same for everybody, i am not aware of any in-game visual setting so you can influence this.
Maybe from the Windows Nvidia or Ati control panel? Like increase gamma? Not sure, never tried it.

Tip:
In your Interior Windows.DDS file from your custom skin, change the banner/grey level of it. More black in the alpha layer means more transparent/less dark.
