In Development: Stats 2.0 returning soon'ish

A small heads up with regards to our statistics pages.

We have received a lot of questions the last couple of months via pm, mail and on the forums what happened to our high tech statistics system we ran for the last 1 1/2 years in our racing clubs.

After the announcement in March that we dropped the stats system for various reasons there were some mixed feelings between our members. Some where happy that the pressure to perform was gone, others miss the statistics of the races they have driven in our various clubs.

Does this mean that the stats are dead? Not at all, but with the old system in place for 1 1/2 we have encountered a few bugs that need to be fixed and the workload to parse all the results really needed to drop. Also a graphic overhaul was needed as some redesign boring tech stuff on the backend of the system :)

The last months we have been working hard behind the scenes to get an improved 2.0 system up and running that hopefully will be loved by all of you.

    More to come soon!

If nothing else, I'd like to compare my times now to my times a year ago :)

Still hoping the rankings come back, especially the bit where people lost points for leaving before race end, that made a big difference. Maybe losing points for signing up and being a no show would help too?
