I'm New to AC - some questions

Hi,

I have only just this week got into AC properly, after 1st looking at the sim with post processing on I thought it looked quite off, but just yesterday tried with no post processing and I like it heaps better with it off.... I have some questions.

It lacks track content, so can anyone recommend good quality tracks? Only interested in ones that are of similar quality as original. I got donnington from here and that was good.

Also the brake lights are virtually impossible to see light up, is there a mod or setting for them to light up better?

I got the ready to race pack, and am enjoying this sim so far.

If you like the look of Miseluk, try Krajiska Zmija and Glava Zete - two hillclimb tracks by the same maker. Both fantastic. (And both available here @ RD.)

List looks pretty good so far. You should enjoy most/all of the ones listed.

Barbagallo is probably my favourite short track in AC, especially with Supercars.

I also run Z1 Dashboard software in 4x instances on a 4th monitor, their website says you don't have to add any files for it to work but im finding it crashes within minutes and before it crashes it doesn't even show the other cars on its track map,

does anyone else have the same issues ?

I found z1 to be not very good...I use SimDash for my 4th monitor but VDASH-EMU is also very good...both are good if you like to design your own screens (which I do).

A word to the wise...it is a lot cheaper to buy a second hand 17" or smaller screen from somewhere like cash converters (in the UK) where I have seen them as cheap as £6.99...coupled with SimDash or VDASH- EMU it's a very cost effective way to get whatever info or dash to be displayed rather than paying hundreds for a little 4.5" lcd screen which is basically doing exactly the same thing.

Among the DLCs, well the one with Nordschleife (Dream Pack 1) for me is not to be missed, unless you really hate the track.

I agree with all the tracks listed, all top job.
