I learned how to control my desktop with voice commands.

I am having a life on controlling the desktop through my voice. Controlling through my voice sometimes allows me to relax my hands from using the keyboard and mouse excessively. This is just as easy as using the command prompt with the right commands.

Do any of you control your desktop with your voice?

How do you this Mohammad? With which software, i would like to try.

But i'm sure i will stick to keyboard/mouse for a long time more...

It's very simple to activate.

All you need is a computer running Windows Vista/7 and a microphone.

Do the following:

Go to Control Panel > Click Ease of Access > Click Speech Recognition > Set up Microphone(choices are Headset; Desktop; and Other) > When you have finished setting it up, click the Back arrow and select Start Speech Recognition > Follow all the instructions as well as the tutorial > Done!

SIDE NOTE - I highly recommend that you select the 'Train your computer to better understand you' if you want your PC to get acquainted with your speaking style.

Oh now i know why i don't know anything about this feature as i use windows xp.. XP ftw!!!!
