Forget that, just went to Currys and saw one in the flesh, what a load of shite! The ST30 is better at £100 less! The problem strangely is terrible motion blur and crap blacks! Completely the opposite to what one should expect from a plasma, especially a Panny plasma. The G30 lacks 'Infinite Black Pro', oddly present on the cheaper model.

Honestly, anyone considering one of those, un-consider it!

In a complete u-turn i was very impressed with the Sony KDL-40EX524, an LED tv!!! At £599 the picture was fabulous, motion handling was MILES better and colour representation, out of the box at least, was so much better, switching the Panny to THX mode will improve colour representation, but won't solve any motion issues.

Have to say i'm back to square one, and will be doing some more research, try to find some input lag specs for the Sony, which sadly NO manufacturers ever publish.

If anyone has any recommendations please post them, and pleeeeeease don't tell me to buy a bloody PC and monitor/s.
